The Roamers JACOB is a men's desert boot in black suede, a classic lace-up ankle boot with a round toe and a rubber sole. It is the best selling desert boot in the Roamers range, made in real suede leather.

Black suede keeps things simple and easy to wear. The soft, matt finish of the suede gives the boot a quieter look than smooth leather, so it sits comfortably with dark denim, chinos or cord trousers, and works just as well with grey or navy as it does with black. The two eyelet lace-up front and low ankle shaft keep the shape neat under a turn-up or a straight leg.

Inside, a textile lining helps the boot stay breathable through the day, while the rubber sole adds grip and a bit of cushioning underfoot. The fit is a regular width, so it suits most feet without feeling tight across the toes. These black desert boots are a casual, year-round option for men who want one pair of boots to cover work, weekends and evenings out.

Excellent boots for a first time purchase.

These Desert Boots are no frills and true to the original concept design from WW2. The only slight criticism is the size of the tag at the back top of the boot. If it were slightly bigger, you could get an adult male finger in the loop and it would help with getting them on!
